Why am I more bothered by the potentially bad news than pleased the almost certainly really good news? Particularly given the really good news is a really good deal to me?

Does anyone else find the bad stuff sticks with you more than the good stuff. Like, say, if 5 people told you they loved you and 1 person told you you were a cunt, am I the only person who'd focus much more on being called a cunt?

I'm not really making sense here 'cos I've not been sleeping and my cognitive functions collapsing on me but I have a point in here somewhere goddmanit!
