"spirited energy". both suit it just fine i'd say.
that you were responsible for the happenings proclaimed by that poster. it was a joke.
i was just adding a thought :)
I AM SO HAPPY I AM HERE
Sometimes I'm so proud that I spent much of my childhood there.
when I think 'murder capital of Canada', I think of about 2 deaths per year.
sure feels like it at least...
out of everywhere i've lived i find winnipeg the scariest, and i've been mugged in London, yet i still feel safer there! so many people with anger here. and apparently syphilus.
Edmonton became the murder capital in 2005. But Manitoba is still in the lead as a province.
for the 'murder capital' of each country?
Nah, I just though I'd look up Winnipeg and see what all the fuss is about. It was on there under 'Crime'.
hey, so, i heard edmonton is the murder capital of canada. is it really that bad, or does that actually mean like, 4 per year?
haha, yea, and 2 of those deaths are actually just igloo cave-ins during spring
I knew it!
it was 36 last year, so there we have it. i would guess chicago is worse? and we're not even the murder capital anymore in the US, i don't think.
Off to Wikipedia I go.
282 murders last year.
but not necessarily the highest number of murders.
at the end of january this year there had been 3 or 4 teenagers killed (about one a week then).
in the north end (poor part of town) there is a house that has had someone killed outside and another who died outside having been stabbed a few doors down. rent is cheap though but unlike london or other big cities you can't just turn a corner and end up somewhere nice. you are stuck in the shit for blocks and blocks.
BACK TO WINNIPEG!
any thread strawberry ever makes on canada. we'll be there.
you have to expect these outbreaks!
