Seeing old friends/ex partners for the first time in years
Isn't it weird when you loose contact with someone, like an friend or maybe even an ex. What do you do? What do you say?
Just sitting here bored and my desk, picking my nose when an ex girlfriend walks though the door.
I hang my head in shame as I haven't even thought about her in a long time, then I realise she's pushing a pram, I had heard stories that she had moved in with some guy and got pregnant.
She spoke to a lady in my office, I didn't dare talk to her, just to give her that look of "Yeah, it's me, i'm back in town and im wearing a suit".
I'm now sitting her thinking would I care if I ever saw her again, I start to remember how she pulled my heart strings, she wanted too much when I was too young.
P.S. She looked amazing.
I'm
going to a wedding reception soon, where I will bump in to my ex that I haven't seen in about 5 years. Going back 4.5 years she wanted to rip my spleen out and dance on it, not sure how it will go in all honesty.
Saw another ex this morning riding a bike to work. She looked silly, but a bicycle helmet will do that to you
I met an ex on a train last year
I can remember at the time thinking 'how on earth did I manage that?!' as she was quite hot.
She'd put on a bit of weight, but was still probably a 6 or 7 out of 10. We chatted for 20 minutes or so til my stop, swapped numbers at the end. I'm quite different now to the time when we were seeing each other, I used to be really shy, now less so.
I met up with another ex last summer for the first time in 4 or so years, that was a bit odd. Didn't feel too much in the way of chemistry.
...
you consider 6 or 7 out of ten hot?
talk about low standards!!!
Nah, back when I was seeing her she'd have been an '8'
but as I said, she'd put on a bit of weight, and lost a bit of cuteness. My gf at the time was a lot nicer.
It goes like this:
ex walks towards you in the street.
You catch their eye; they catch yours.
You look at your watch as you keep walking, otherwise it'll be like a Big Train-esque staring contest.
You wait for a few more steps, lift your head back up and see that they are slowing down to chat, and give a really enthusiastic smile that says "wow - not seen you in ages! Let's chat"
You would rather have rabies than speak to them, so you just give a look of "i've acknowledged you, but i shan't speak to you" and continue to walk.
You smirk, because it's always really embarrassing when you slow down to speak to someone and they blatantly keep walking because they don't want awkward chat.
I still see all my ex's
bar one. But she will come round one day.
I think if you had something special its nice to stay in touch and be mates.
If I haven't seen an old friend in ages i'd probably ignore them if at all possible, unless I really liked them and we fell out of touch for other reasons apart from the fact we weren't that good friends in the first place.
i see all my exs
bar one too, and hopefully he'll come around one day. i feel the same way about it as you. lots of people seem to find it weird though.
My ex is coming to visit soon
and she's ace! It'll be good.
Are you going to
do the sex?
*Predictably childish*
Nope/mind your own business
i had breakfast with an ex in jan.
it was great. we had really random conversation and it was really fun!
i don't think it'd be the same with other ex's though..
.
i saw an ex from about 6 or 7 years ago on christmas eve. we chatted while smoking outside the pub and then i realised she was incredibly dull and went and smoked inside the pub instead
i had some loose contact the other day
imodium sorted it right out
i was waiting for that
someone just sent me an email about a loose load just now too!
the
last time i saw one, she was sick on my shoes and i had to pay for her taxi home. somethings dont change
i'm...
only in contact with one ex...
i rarely get into relationships so there's only one ex in manchester, and he looks like a jew loving terry wogan.
weirdness aside, i have two school friends coming to stay in two weeks time, one of which i haven't really spoken to in 9 years.
gonna be weird...but good! i hope!
