Does anyone else find him a bit cringe worthy and desparate in real life.
I am in a minority in not having met Noel Fielding?
his name rings no bell with me whatsoever
She settled on simply changing her first name rather than calling herself Blue Peter, which was him/her's first thought.
hang out with him a lot do you?
I just find him irritating... in real life.
you know....real life!!
Not to see us, he just happened to be there for some of the other bands and watched us too. He danced apparently, which is nice - I like it when people dance at gigs.
Can't remember which one though 'cos I don't watch the Mighty Boosh. It was the "geeky one, not the cool one I'm told" which I assume is Julian Barrett although I'd have thought I'd have spotted him as I liked Nathan Barley.
Not sure who he'd come to see...
the sorriest namedrop I have ever seen.
I just cant tell the difference between his charactor on TV and the person his is in real life.
the sad pedantic nature of most people?
and 'real life'.
We aren't being pedantic, you are just aren't making much sense.
to form an opinion about him and the character he plays do I?
extentions of the actors / writers own characters?
as far as i can tell he's just a guy who likes mucking about and making jokes. he was lucky enough to get a radio/tv show out of it
and I agree, Noel Fielding does seem to be like Vince Noir only even less cool and more needy/dull.
Obviously it's possible that when he appears as Noel Fielding on TV shows he is still 'in character'. But in my book, if you're in in character using your own name then you've decided that's who you are.
It's like Kurt Vonnegut said: “Be careful what you pretend to be because you are what you pretend to be.”
