I drank lots of Guinness, ordered over £50 of Dominos Pizza and failed to finish a game of darts.
Something like "its going to be a long week"?
(is that the one we use now??)
MAUNDY THURSDAY! I fucking love the last supper.
I usually have custard creams and milk, but recently I've been favouring toast and pate.
for breakfast lunch and dinner.
And get someone super hot to wash my feet.
ah the bliss of working in the civil service
Although my manager isn't in all week so I'm essentialy free to do what I want
who's laughing now?
at half 5 on sunday morning.
I had a slight hangover.
I drank some pink wine.
I ate a sausage casserole.
I read a lot of newspapers.
And I went to the Ampersand Derby. MMM, NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL. MMM, BLUE SQUARE SOUTH.
It's gone beyond self-pitying emo and into what looks like anger. R U ALRITE DANYEL?
MY PHONE DIED. I'm sorry again.
no, as I was with people who I go to the football with, unless you know them? So could you retract the fuck off please?
last i heard you were going to laura's with tom, hence the "fuck off"!
but did you not see the biblical storm?! I didn't have a coat so I had to stay in the pub with football people.
Is it because of who you are, or who they are?
i got mightily drunkd at the mars volta gig, and have the following things to say about it. Firstly, they are a great band, and when they play their songs they sound fantastic, but unfortunately they seem to feel the need to draw each song out over an eternity, and solo in an extremely over the top way before during and after EVERY SONG! At times it was interesting, but far too often it just presented me with an opportunity to go out for a cig, and come back before the end of the song. It was interesting also to thing of a 3 hour experience of music where you wander round and enjoy more than just the performance in much the same way as if you were at a club night or something… but my overall though for the evening was that if I’d really wanted to see that type of guitar w@nkery, I’d have gone to see Letz Zep (or whatever they were called) at the LA2.
Sat was fun, we went to Tom and Dan’s party at 93 feet east and did some bad dancing and some other stuff, I seem to have a key from somewhere?
RAISE YOUR KEYS IN THE AIR.
Or more specifically:
i remember people i don't know coming up to me at random, not saying anything and just pressenting me with their key, so i brandished mine, we hi fived!
where we experienced the worst service ever- 50 mins for a chicken, apparently the oven had broken but they neglected to tell anyone the food might be ultra-late.
Saturday went on an Ikea trip and set up a wireless network back at home, and after loads of messing about got xbox media centre to work, for streaming goodness. +40 geek points for Mr Bastards.
Sunday had the neighbours round for dinner. I think they approved of my cooking. Hooray!
I bought and assembled furniture with TheNickOfBastards.
Ghetto Claus is still in one piece, despite falling over in the boot.
I'd forgotten all about that Nandos service! Poor J-Dog.
Have you managed to fit all yr cds in?
I might go back next payday.. need a tv stand and some 'storage'. And a rug. Bateman-tastic!
I might come with you, I really want that comfy office chair I sat in!
I might make my entrance hall look a bit like Vietnam.
played some music on Friday, that was fun, then went to see Black Dice on Saturday (they were great) and then played my second ever DJ set. Spent yesterday at The Albert Social Club in Didsbury playing Pictionary and waiting for a table tennis table to become available. Fascinating, eh?
In under 2 hours 15 minutes, then sat on the M1 for a couple of hours. Ended up driving the wrong way down the carriageway.
Also saw Hendon 2-2 Folkestone.
Friday - went to house party, talked to people, got drunk, went home.
Saturday - went to house party, talked to people, got drunk, went home.
Sunday - filmed music video. Spent morning dressed as a WWII soldier in Hampstead Heath and being "killed" hence necessitating me lying on wet muddy ground.
Spent afternoon sat in a pub dresseed up like some kind of Victorian vice den drinking red wine. I preferred that bit of the video.
that sounds brill!
Although I'm knackered today and my body's aching. I managed to "die" in an incredibly uncomfortable position and was let with my neck at an odd angle for about 5 takes of another "soldier" reacting to my dead body...
i went to see The Mars Volta again, i met a few DiS folk briefly, i got drunk, i met up with mates, i didn't see much of London, i got drunk again, i ate pizza, i got my bus back home, i still can't complete Yoshi on my DS
sorry it was short lived though, we tried to get back to the sound desk, but it had packed out a bit, and we decided that it would be easier to sit on the edge, thus saving our legs from having to endure that...
you didn't meat me...is there something you're not telling me?!
Don't worry about deserting me, i was fine on my own :p
Nah, it's cool - it did pack out, as i found when struggling my way through to the pisser.
AS my b/f pointed out from the Glasgow show: do you not think Cedric's hair looked like Cher's?
he looked pretty silly, i'd much rather he had his old fro, perhaps they should make him cut his hair, and make the songs proportionately as long!
i'm glad they didn't coordinate songs to hair for that show though, else we may have had 55 minute versions of 'Walking in Memphis'.
are myself and a wasp. a really big wasp.
i just stayed in and talked on msn and ate crap. i'm considering killing myself.
he was alright
Reece wins with the bumble bee, they're my favourite insect EVER.
i got stung by one once, it stung a bit, but was nothing one of those clicky sting removers could fix, but i felt so bad for the poor dude losing his life for it :(
Do you think they have a moral debate with themselves before they sting assessing if it's worth the sacrifice? Unlike wasps those malevolent buggers.
i found the wasp crawling around in the kitchen
i got scared i'd stand on it so i put a glass over him
i then got scared it'd get out and pushed the glass over a bit of a box of shreddies
i then got scared it would suffocate and lifted it onto the garden table.
i then got scared it would freeze and suffocate and took the shreddies box our of the equation
i then got scared that it would just be there forever, so i picked up the glass and ran really fast back inside.
this is the first time i've been outside in days.
friday night i went to a white heat worky thing, earned some money, went to the world's worst afterparty, went to a house, went home, slept.
saturday i woke up, discovered i had internet, decided i need never leave the house again, ate an entire tub of ben & jerry's, had a nap, woke up, ordered indian, ate it, fell asleep.
sunday i woke up at about 1pm, ate the rest of my indian, watched dirty dancing, had a shower, went to jasmine's, ate curry again, went to sleep.
I went to see a friend DJ her top 100 records. When she played 'Man In The Mirror' I pretty much cleared everyone off the dancefloor to make room for myself.
I then busted my best MJ moves and even the bar staff stopped serving to watch me. The jury is out as to whether they were utterly impressed or totally horrified.
Saturday went to bobbygeorge/meths birthday which was ace funz. All Dan's mates freaking him out with "Dan masks" was a highlight.
My favourite quote of the weekend was from me: "He's from the internet"
Saw Black Dice, meated moousee ( avery lovely guy), had a big family gettogether and am now back home for easter. And the suns shining so all is well and good.
I wish I'd have nabbed it.
Have a look.
Walking across the third floor of a deserted multistorey car park at 9pm without car keys - pretty stupid?
overindulgent yes. But still amazing.
Saturday- 93ft east, tom and dan
Found keys. Lots of keys. Saw lots of people. Bamos tried to make me drink beer through a lampshade. Fun times were had by all.
i missed that!
did you have a good night? you looked exhausted when I left.
Got a makeover, bought overpriced makeup afterwards, and discovered WAS were doing an instore thingy- which I got a wristband for this morning :-D
my band played with dananananaykroyd. and they were very rad.
on saturday my club had hot bone playing at it and they were rad
on sunday i won the intertube at poker. it was rad.
although I've been reminded that giving someone your number may make you feel pretty euphoric on Friday night, but then there's a comedown on Monday when you don't get a phonecall.
However, on Sunday I met a 70-year-old heiress from St Lucia who’s now living on the streets of Islington. She talked to me for an hour about the meaning of life and the importance of maintaining an optimistic outlook. So I’m not going to let it get me down.
You pair of cunts.
was an earthquake in 1788
I think that's partly why I gave this girl my number. I was feeling a bit left out.
and 1 straight friend copped off at the Good Ship too. Maybe I should stay away more often!
Or with different people?
I dunno which option would be more impressive.
and if not, at least you got to see me at my angriest! Fucking sparky....
Seriously, driving a girl away with jokes about your impending gay marriage is one of the funniest things Tom's ever done.
What kind of cake should we go for?
you are fucking lucky she came back.
'EMMA! EMMA! I'M NOT ACTUALLY GAY!'
and now it's St Patricks Day and I dont want to drink :(
Was mostly alone at home with the 2 kids...
and actually admitted to someone that i liked them.
it did not go well.
so i drank loads! yay for beer!
Friday: Mars Volta
Saturday: Molested by very thorough bouncer.
Sunday: Odd jam - rappers, guitarist, violinist and me on double bass in a living room, eating fish and bread sticks. It owned.
All in all, prettygood.
