Anyone else unable to get their heads round this whole Easter thing?

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 13:58, 13 March '08

I've just been informed Friday week is Good Friday and Monday week is Easter Monday.

Although I did 'know' this, I hadn't really registered it and as such had been booking people in and planning Good Friday and Easter Monday as "normal" work days.

I was speaking to a friend of mine who teaches in a college and, so far as he's aware, hardly anyone's noticed next week is Easter and that they probably won't be working.

It seems that Easter's going unnoticed this year far more so than any other year I can remember.* Is this my imagination or am I right?

*I wonder if the fact that the school holidays aren't actually over Easter this year is a factor in this but then can't actually see how that would affect my perception of Easter as I don't have any close relatives of school age.
