Whereas in The God Delusion you're reading someone whose expertise lies in science having a crack at philosophy, The End of Faith pretty effectively tears apart religious 'reasoning'.
Most effective bit is the explanation of why 'moderate' religion is as pernicious as what we like to think of as extremism. Any religious faith that isn't 'extreme' is simply ignoring the bits people now find distasteful and therefore has zero integrity.
Oh, except don't read the last few chapters cos he goes a bit mental then.
