the theatre

soapy [Edit] [Delete] 14:41, 8 March '08

i never normally go but i went and saw a play the other day (franz kafkas metamorphosis with original score by nick cave & warren ellis) and it was really really good.
the bloke playing gregor was leaping and climbing around his room, which was set up so 'floor' of his room was actually the back wall of the stage creating a big climbing frame. the guy playing the lodger was hilarious and the rest of the family were both funny and tragic.

i enjoyed it a lot but i'm still wary of people doing that funny big voiced 'stage' acting.
