morbid i know, but inspired by a current conversation:
i'm thinking i'll live to mid 50s.
I will live to probably 70-80
26.that means ive outlived her by 8 years.im really scared by the heredity thing
my grandad started to mess himself at that point and i don't go in for that type of thing ....
I keep thinking that i'm not going to live to a long age. Maybe its because i just can't imagine it at the moment.
I've also been thinking that I might not meet my maker in one piece as i'm quite concerned that i'm going to lose an eye or a finger or a leg or some other vital part of my anatomy at some point.
I think i may be losing it.
if the family tree is anything to go by
mums dying at 26! My grandparents that are alive (all except 1) are 75 and upwards, my grandfather died at something like 78? I'm inventing these figures byt they are definitely all over 75. Sorry about your mothers to the people that posted.
although with a family history of manic depression, plain depression and cancer on both sides it could be earlier.
my great grandparents died at aged 92 and 94. Both my grandparents are alive and well (late 60's). But then again, I dont think anyone i know of has died of natural causes apart from my great grandparents. mostly alcohol abuse.
WHERES THE GOD DAMN BEER.
My grandparents that have died (3/4 so far) died at ages 81, 83, and 79 (though he was only a few days off his 80th). So I'm going to go for the 80 mark.
Although judging from their years leading up to death, I've got an interesting load of inheritable diseases to look forward to post-50! Yay!
i might get hit by a car tomorrow. or tonight, when i go out to buy myself some pudding, mmmm.
I hope not though, i'm really looking forward to my pudding.
just so i miss out on being a Rock Icon
I plan to live long enough to witness the day when we are all able to upload our entire personalities and beings onto the all-encompassing, bandwith-limitless Global Mainframe and become part of a superior database of consciousnesses, immortal and with only the limits of our own imaginations to bind us.
I don't know why, but I just know. Probably mid twenties.
I have a vast history of severe mental illness on both sides of my family, so this might have a part to play.
considering that's i've been the most idiotic, uncessary tongue-lashing of the century from my mother.
soz.. it's these threads which are repetitive which make me think, 'God, did this in 2006...soz'
since i'll have a nephew/niece to look after and teach about the world pretty soon.
