Do You Like The Gratuitous Capital Letters? Like It's All A Title
But that includes all of my bills
but i live with my olds still, until college
I hate it.
I'll do my nut if it takes me that long in the summer
including water and electricity (no gas) but not council tax.
otherwise I have to move up North
£480pcm for a 2 bed house (with 3 people sharing).
I still can't afford to pay it!
Do they pay people in peanuts up North then?
I'm starting to get worried about finding somewhere affordable in a few months now!
if i get paid. which hasnt happened for 2 months :(
not including bills.
where do you live??
that's not right. you eejit.
Why am I telling you this?
you can instantly work out who lives in london and who doesn't!
I pay her £200 a month digs.
I WANTS CHEAPER RENTS INNA NU PLACE.
OPTION TOO IZ NORF LONDONSHIRE SUMWERE. UNLIKELY THOUGH.
IT'S REALLY QUITE DOABLE.
THAT WAY YOU HELP PEOPLE INSTEAD OF ESTATE AGENTS.
ALTHOUGH I AM SCARED ABOUT THE PROSPECT OF LIVING WITH MURDEROUS AUSTRALIANS. GUMTREE SCARES ME A LOT.
Hanover Area, Brighton
5 bed house
snap, from july 1st £297 pcm inc. bills in the Polygon, Southampton.
5 bed house
Inner Avenue, Southampton
i dont pay anything towards bills. I probably should, though they never realy asked. im only 17 mind.
I think this is pretty unusual though.
kind of makes me feel more bad about not contributing anything :( i guess it depends on family circumstances and all that, but i feel quite bad about not paying anything towards at least the Internet and stuff.
enjoy it while you can. one year and you'll be broke in no time
on a low wage, so she'd really struggle if I didnt't help out. If she didn't need it, I probably wouldn't pay.
This is going to be one of those pointless threads that gets 100+ replies isn't it?
I need a new mum
not including bills. In London. It's ok, it's a nice flat. In Birmingham three years ago I used to pay £325pcm for a mega nice house with a garden in a posh area.
but I share a room, will be paying less soon (and in a much nice place)
this is soon to be exchanged for mortgage repayments
not great considering I'm renting one box-sized room.
and in the west end of glasgow. get me.
I found a flat in the West End for that price excluding bills, but I don't know whether to take it or not.. Decisions decisions.
because my flatmate's parent's own it and I think my rent bascially covers the bills. that's my understanding of it anyway. I'd happily pay more but why bring it up if they dont mind?
All inclusive, but that's living with parents at the moment.
inclusive of barking ankle-biter noises and arguing neighbours but not water, council tax or anything else.
and it's just me.
and i think he wants to put it up again.
anyone got a garden big enough for a tent?
couldn't you be looking at a mortgage for that?
but you could still get a 1-bed in a decent area for that I think, especially if you don't mind ex-LA. Of course some people prefer to rent.
I think it would be more like £180,000 that would lead to that kind of payment maybe a little more. Anyway I don't want to be discussing mortgage rates!
although to buy my place would cost around £230k. I wouldn't want the mortgage payments for it. It's only a studio ffs.
if it was that much i'd consider buying it!
but my mortgage costs me £1067 per month :(
It's split with Mr Starshaped. Then there's bills and insurances etc. I need a pay rise.
not including bills, london though innit
all bills/council tax. It's an ensuite room, the biggest in the house.
No bills or council tax.
Living by myself though.
talking about how she bought her council flat for £16k in 1994 and sold it for £135k in the early 2000s.
was bought by the original owner for 17k. This is a three bed in a centralish location in London.
this one was in kentish town >:(
that's a room in a 3 bed plus decent garden. quite happy with it.
is awesome though!
but your own!
i'll come back!
in a bog standard Oxford house + £50 bills
i've had a 3 bedroom place in marylebone (just near marble arch tube)offered to me at £380 a week, so £130 a week each. I think that includes heating and water, and council tax is pretty cheap in westminster.
Its not until September though, with deposit needed in May. It's still a pretty far away thing then, so doesnt really need a thread of its own right now, but if this sounds of potential interest to anyone, pm me!
it's absolutely beautiful.
nice! daily rockstar-spotting from your bedroom window too...
basically, its a company that deals with students, hence the may deposit, september move in, and on the down side, it would be a may move out.
It just so happens that those dates actually fit around my plans right now, so just need people that are happy with that!
It's all legit, I rented with them as a student, which is why they're doing me a deal now, and its a pretty great place. I'll probably post again in a few weeks when i know more.
they rent the flats out at a much higher price during the may-september summer period, which is why they're able to charge low prices during the september-may 'academic year' period.
ha ha ha
plus bills and council tax (£75).
Big flat, good location, but poor furnishings - i could have scored a better deal
mortgage, 3 bed house £650 per month. thats between me and the missus though. The cat does'nt contribute although she should given her vet bills. Fascinates me how much rent differs throughout the land..
What does'nt fascinate me is the amount of property TV my other half watches..
but this includes bills and council tax.
3 bed house. No bills included in that
i wouldn't mind paying a bit more to live by myself or have a bit more room though.
I'm well cheap to keep though
i'd be happier living somewhere with a bit of damp/a higher chance of stabbing, and having more money to spend of rekkids/gigs/booze/hookers each month
Rent + Council Tax = £476. We don't seem to pay for our electric, and there's a few other bills...so call it £500. Just off Stoke Newington Road. Near Barden's.
but have to add bills on top of that. Still bloody good for a 6 bedroom house.
1 bdrm in Newport Bch. Or $1850 if I'm late. So that. $1850/mo.
Not including gas/electricity etc.
West End, baby.
but it's M1. and en suite.
thusly cheap as fuck.
but only becase we have more people in this house than we should, not even in london either
today seems to have been the day of talking about how much my rent is.... boo
It's not great but I've paid more rent for shittier houses in this area.
to live in a really big room in a nice ex-council house off Brixton Hill. My rent hasn't gone up since i moved in two and a half years ago and my housemates are ace.
My girlfriend is looking to fill a small room in a beautiful house in Herne Hill for £80 p/w if anyone is interested.
excluding bills for a pokey studio flat. it is in west didsbury though.
but then Oslo is expeeensive. And we make loads of money.
