Mine was quite good, went to Milton Keynes then played darts against my dad (lost 6-2.)
but also got some reasonably crappy news. I'll give it 5/10
Nursing, with charm and good looks.
Bamos guide to nursing: order pizza, consume.
And I drank a lot. And made a funny joke about Tanni Grey-Thompson.
But there's a picture of just her face, with her eyes shining like massive blue I WANT YOU beacons, and OH MY GOD it's mesmerising.
But I got some stuff I needed to do done. A modest 6/10.
I've got to go now, but if I haven't pm'd you to tell you alllll about it, remind me
spent too much time playing computer games, then had a really mediocre night out on saturday in clapham (aka Hell On Earth, i fucking hate clapham), felt rotten all day yesterday, did not enough work and generally felt like i'd wasted a weekend for no good reason. 3/10
so long as you don't go out there...
it's just full of complete and utter wankers, knobheads and the sort of people who make me want to smash their heads into walls. i mean, yeah, places like shoreditch can be annoying too, but more in a "er, what?" way than clapham, which is full of actively arrogant arseholes. grrrrrr
glad i have today off work.
had my first free saturday in ages and went shopping which was cool then on sunday i saw dead meadow who were great. the singer smoked on stage! there were audible gasps. i think someone fainted.
Friday: went boozing, drank too much gin, ended up betting on boxing, and then watched a nine piece funk band (apologies rob)
saturday: played football, watched football, drank a bit too much, went to a fantastic night at my local, danced very badly
sunday: went to brighton! bought cds, won a cuddly football on a penalty game, got cursed by a gypsy, almosty killed a small child, scored a 3 pointer on a basketball court, went to a penny arcade, saw eels!
I got candy floss
I need to get out more.
absolutely tortuous drive to Notts and back on Friday to play some music and buy wonderful posters off of blindjoedeath, got dragged around clothes shops by my girlfriend on Saturday with a horrific headache, managed to renege on my deal with myself to not drink for a month by consuming absolutely hideous amounts of alcohol on Saturday night, then spent Sunday feeling appalling, finding out that someone stole my cymbal stands and then having to lug furniture around in the pissing rain. Father Ted was quite funny last night though.
Bad thing: back on antibiotics
Good thing: met Alexei JoFo
I spend eighty percent of it on here.
for weekends when you don't visit BHS. I look forward to hearing about them.
and did fuck all for the first weekend since Christmas. It was brilliant and I got quite far on X-Com: Enemy Unknown :D
that I still find it absolutely terrifying?
Friday: Maximum Black, though I left after Stephen O'Malley and Alexander Tucker. Dirty Projectors and Six Organs were immense, and a complete stranger handed me a spliff which was a bonus.
Saturday: in the pub watching Soccer Saturday, though I'm starting to think I should stop going in the same pub by myself every weekend, because I must look like a right loner.
Sunday: went into Ealing, had a full English, went home and watched boring telly.
I've had better but I suppose I've had worse. 5/10
Stayed in Friday night on the promise of going out big style on Saturday. Saturday night was then commandeered by the real ale brigade *sigh*.
Sunday drove out to the Peaks to visit my friends and their baby. Had tea and cake. Was fun.
Was this a national thing? I have an image of CAMRA's militant wing storming every pub in the country and demanding a revolution....
and 11pm closing time. And beards. :(
Everyone seemed to be wearing beer festival t-shirts. You know, 'Yockenthwaite 94', that kind of thing. BAD ROADIES
do you have a car?
He's got a Merc. AWWWWW YEAAAAH!
because I was ill. I was looked after by a 'sexy' 'nurse' though. And I watched about 10 episodes of The OC. Now I'm off work, which is kind of good, but annoying because I want the Stephen Malkmus and Nick Cave albums NOW.
is all I own. I need more!
the nick cave instore later if you're feeling up to it.
but probably not :( I get a bit scared being so close to my heroes anyway! Also, my work would think I was skiving...
On Friday I got ballbagged on Adnams before having to go home to bed early.
On Saturday I went to the pub all day, heard a funny joke about Tanni Grey-Thompson and then had a brief argument with a transsexual.
On Sunday I woke up feeling terrible, but then recovered enough to try going to the Neil Young thing in Brixton, but then fell asleep on the sofa by mistake. EPIC FAIL.
And I was sober as a judge.
What happened here? Was this the guy who accused Tom From Sparks of eating too much Asian food?
this sounds like a heinous crime
I'm sure as we were walking back to the tube station someone crossed the road only wearing their underwear and then told us we couldn't afford to buy clothes in some shop.
I do have less than total recall of Saturday's events though.
Did we both have the same dream?
Friday: Wrap party for friend's short film. Free drinks + discount on food at Euston Station on way home.
Saturday: 21 mile run, cinema for SemiPro (why do I let myself get talked into watching these things!)
Sunday: Bought mothers day card, watched the 2006 horror film Broken. Realised it was a different 2006 film called Broken. Watched it anyway. Watched The Fifth Element. Visited ht27 and associated baby. Cleaned rabbit cage.
Friday/Saturday - see Olegrich. We're married.
Sunday - Was supposed to be at the Crisis thing at the Roundhouse with a a friend but only lasted about 3 minutes (we had free tickets). Went to that Russian cafe in Primrose Hill for about 2 hours drinking coffee, then sat in a pub near Hampstead Heath, played scrabble and read the paper. It was a lovely day.
alright love, do you like charlton?
went out at the beginning and end of the weekend, and spent the time inbetween sleeping.
and i made stealthy miss the last tube home. mwahahaha.
supporting the frightened rabbit gig at the macbeth?
i meant to go to that!
but good overall.
