Me and Brooner are celebrating our anniversay on sunday in Brighton. Recommend me some pubs please.
and the London to Brighton Hog.
chips. thats my recommendation. what time will you be getting to brighton? we might have to meat you there as i think we'll be at hannahs parents in the afternoon so easier to get train from there.
at . . . Horatios! (Don't).
Go to the Pav Tav.
Don t go to pav tav unless all u want is cheap drinks.... thats the only appeal of it, its full of chavs and sceneagers nowa days.
Mash Tun is really good, its liek 3 atmospheres in one. Upstairs is padded walls and just loads of seats, red lights and quiet music... chilled. Downstairs is a busy noisey pub and the outside is like the sort of atmos u get at a festival (if it were summer, but u still get that feeling on a dry day)
Fiddelers Elbow; A small and nice irish pub, its really nice!
The Hannover; Exactly like the Grand Central only quier and more barable.
Spread Eagle; Crowded but barable and has a good atmos about it, music is hit n miss but thats only an after thought in a pub innit!
The Prince Albert; If You get space in the small private rooms its class! Secluded from the bar and crowds, its slightly quiet then the main pub so great for convosations, its cool to have 2 or 3 small groups in there as once people get drunk you do intrigate pretty well.
Above Audio; Lovely bar that serves killer food, its so nice... the outdoor section is second to none.
the spread eagle is terrible!
it sold kopparberg and had fishtanks. and it was opposite another pub. that's all i remember.
I dont remember the name of it though
O I also forgot to reccomend
The Fishbowl; Good pub open till 4am! some nights.
The Basketmakers; Fantastic pub IF you can get a seat
The Quadrant (during the day) - Really nice building and atmosphere (Listed Building I believe)
The Eagle (Good food)
The Hop Poles (Nice cosy pub in south lanes)
The St James (If you are in Kemp Town)
Would second the Mash Tun and Prince Albert and almost every pub in on Southover Street in Hanover.
so many great pubs! The best pub crawl location ever, they sell yard of ales n everything!
in Brighton it would definitly be Hanover.
the Eddy (Upper Gloucester st)
The Hampton (Hampton terrace I think)
Above Audio for cocktails
The Sidewinder is lush on sundays - it's on St James St
Have a lovely weekend!
The Mash Tun
The Hop Poles
all get my vote!
some of you like BAD pubs
hampton is great as is the windmill opposite
albert is pretty cool
the eddy is awesome
lion and lobster is okay but rammed.
evening star is amazing if you like real beer. great great beer.
the little one opposite the george I forget the name of. but it's great. I REMEMBER. The great eastern.
hoppoles is good for food - it's twin pub is the eagle in the north laines if you can't get a table.
basketmakers arms is also better than the eagle and is directly opposite.
theres a few good cocktail bars in town too. one above the theatre royal and one passed waitrose towards hove.
I am right, some of you are partly right, and some of you are just WRONG.
