how ungrateful is the human race?!
i dont know what i belive in, in terms of god, the afterlife, re-incarnation etc etc. i am twenty years old haven't had sufficient life experience to know what i believe or dont belive in. i think one of religons major contradictions (wrong word?) is that people are just born into it. if i was raised in a strict muslim family then i am most likely going to be a strict muslim as if i was born into a faithless family chances are i wouldn't follow religon. so it's not really someones fault if they follow the wrong teachings or none at all and hence in the eyes of god are sinners. okay im rambling now and going off on one, this isn't the point of my thread.
my point is, christians, muslims, jews, all belive that there is a 'heaven'
something better than this life.
but the world COULD be heaven. we've been provided with everything we need not only to survive but to enjoy living.
fruits are natures sweets.
strawberries taste so good.
the beauty of the world is awe inspiring. it's hmanity that has made all the things that make life dark and scary and painful.
perhaps this was our chance for heaven and stupid, selfish c*nts that we are, we've just screwed it up for ourselves?
(ps. im sorry, i'd be able to explain what i mean better in the flesh, im not that great at expressing things like this on a forum page, hope it makes some sense to someone...)
