American apparel isn't cool anymore, right?

yes_ [Edit] [Delete] 18:11, 18 February '08

I was in there today (looking for fancy dress clothes - LOL etc) and for a pair of yellow shorts it was about £15. Fuck that. I tried to get a job there and they never even got back to me, which is pretty gay. Their clothes are all way overpriced and you'd have to be a total nob to buy anything other than a few plain hoodies or t shirts.

Plus, this happened:
The shop is fairly quiet. It is a relatively small shop for the centre of town, though sp rea across two floors. There are 2 other customers and myself. Some hip hop comes over the speakers.

Hip hop: FUCK BITCH I'VE GOT MONEY AND DRUGS AND ALL OF THE OTHER TRAPPINGS OF BEING A GANGSTER AND ALL THE FUCK REST FUCK FUCK FUCK etc etc
Me: *oh god, I bet they play this intentionally to show they've got attitude. It's something they'd do; just like the "provocative" photography books like "skinenema" et al. Ridiculous*

Young effete female staff member: Turn that off! It's got swearing in it!
Young effete male staff member: Yeah, I know!
Young effete female staff member: *giggle* HHAHAHAHAHA

And that's what I don't like about American apparel.

Tomorrow: What I don't like about shop people.

I seem to make a thread each day which is basically about boring stuff which happened in my day. This must be boring. I'm not bothered because i am MTFU 2.0
