Help Stefan on this please and me, natch.
Oh Edmund Hillary how was i to know you weren't British?
I'll try and remember. Wait there!
I listened to the Top 40 for the first time in ages whilst travelling back to london (LOOK I LIVE IN LONDON, but how to I get to ATP using only my hands and an old spoon?) and was saddened that last week's number one would have sounded dated in 1996 - why is happy hardcore still popular?
I listened to the Top 40 last night as well, whilst trying to work out when the last time I'd listened to it was. COINCEDENCE?
This angers me.
But then I wasn't paying that much attention. I heard nothing I particularly liked apart from something by Timbaland and something by Britney Spears.
with with 'Fearne and Reggie', they missed out numbers 38, 37, 36, 35 and 34. Twats! That's where Kingmaker and Thousand Yard Stare probably were.
I ONCE PLAYED FOOTBALL WITH HIM
IT WAS AN ADVERT FOR A NEW PROGRAMME ON CHANNEL 4, CALLED 'NEW HEROES OF COMEDY' AND FEATURING RICKY GERVAIS AND DAVID WALLIAMS AND MATT LUCAS AND SACHA BARON COHEN!!!
insert sign of disappointment here
Not to mention Gareth McLean on the Guardian blog having a right pop at the idea David Walliams was a hero of comedy and in the next paragraph claiming Matt Lucas' selection was fair enough, apparently without spotting the reasoning.
in Sainsbury's (Waterloo branch)at lunchtime and thought he look incredibly old. That's about as angry as I got.
I like Matt Lucas.
The Top 40 bammy - it was just Fern and some man with a specch impediment reading out texts from 13 year old girls and 47 year old gay men and then a really embarrasing interview with Duffy where Fern Cotton said 'go girl' about 15 times. She must have a vagina like a bucket to have got the work she's got.
but then they'd probably skip it.
