Anyone seen this?
Errrrrrrrrrm... Ok then.
I actually just watched the whole thing. Wouch.
it's better than skins.
after getting a myspace friends request from them. Its a big shit isnt it? Fair play to them for trying though and I like Winter Kids but when it had finished I wanted my 14 minutes back to be honest
i watched the trailer and decided i'd never, ever watch anything more than that.
and it was bad enough. 30 seconds in and it's just embarrassing really.
'Atrocious' does it justice, I think.
If it's all about the music, why not do a 15-minute documentary about WinterKids? Or better, a slightly more realistic program about how difficult it is to put gigs on at that level? lol @ me losing £200 on WinterKids when I put them on at the EXACT venue this was filmed at. (Lark In The Park).
Contains some ridiculously horrific lines. "Well, I am pretty good at myspace" did get a little lol out of me though. When it was in the trailer, and completely out of context.
Also, how awkward to WinterKids look when they're being filmed off-stage? Fantastic. They knew it was going to be shit too.
but it sounds uncannily like a video version of an article on the front of the Times' Style magazine yesterday...the new "Tribes" of teenager, poorly written and with really pathetic definitions of supposedly new categories.
that was the funniest thing
It took a lot of effort, time, training and patience for that big ol' thing to manage to paint that self-portrait.
But Picasso could still do something far more impressive over dinner on the back of a napkin.
Good on you guys for trying, really. But you have to accept that when you create something it doesn't matter what led to its creation - once done, it's an independent object, and thus open to criticism from people who know nothing of what went behind it. So don't get offended if people don't like it, that's part of what making 'art' is about. It'd be a shit world if everyone just loved everything for the effort involved.
i'm glad it got bumped. they must have gotten hammered on youtube as it's now set to private, but it's still here: http://www.sceneagers.com/
i've buried stuff that i made in film school that was not half as terrible as this.
