apparently a load of shops near the Hawley Arms are currently up in flames...
we should blame her anyway
goodbye hawley arms.
not like i could afford drinks in there or something.
a fire sale next week, all the booze wil be dead cheap.
live and in colour
name dropped winehouse.
"These New Putitans spotted at the time of the start of the fire"
ironically i have that stupid song in my head
what a terrible band
But they are incredibly pretentious.
BLAZIN ONE URP!
working on it. looked that way when i went past but i don't know.
this was the first thing I thought of. Insurance fraud and a way shut the protesting stallholders up. From wha I've heard, the guy who owns Camden Market is a fairly shady character
or have there been quite a lot of big fires in and around london recently?
There was the big one at the oil refinery thing about a year ago, then the one by the olympic site...what's going on??!
the jam factory near my house, used for storage, skate events and some filming mysteriously went up in flames some years back.
curiously, it wasn't long afterwards that the builders moved in.
now it is no longer the jam factory, but http://www.thejamfactory.com/ .
"South of The Borough: SoBo"
seriously, property developers and the horrible yuppies who buy into this lifestyle crap: please just die.
some kind of post-ironic nu-rave hardcore band
electro shed anyone?
the air really does smell smokey in bloomsbury
Roads are wierd, it was jam packed down my road half an hour ago, and now its dead...
i had to turn off as the guy was so "oh, yeah, Amy Winehouse, yeah, trendy, winehouse yeah."
like the hawley arms really has taken a beating from the sky news footage
if she was killed or something, she;d be imortalised, which would ultimately be terrible for the progress of British Culture.
she sounds like a whining-cat (no pun intended)
with her bloody crack pipe.
Pisshole that it is, I'm seeing The Breeders there so no fires cheers.
She has no knowledge of London geography whatsoever and would be likely to panic that I was caught up in any disaster anywhere in London so I thought I'd better get hold of her before she switches the news on...
whatever happened. sunshine!
I'm round Camden virtually every Saturday - and the one time they have a good fire, I'm doing something else.
Can't help thinking that the Hawley going up is some kind of karma though.
was always going to end in tears....
look at the URL, ferchrissakes!
The police should question the Subliminal Girls about their whereabouts last night.
at about eight this morning. smelt pretty bad. couldn't get too close as most of the lower portion of chalk farm road is still totally shut off, but could distinctly see sky through one part of the hawley. imagine the entire block will be torn down now!
about Dingwalls? I am supposed to be there on Tuesday for Earth.
of the canal, wouldn't think there would be any problems.
I've been waiting to see Sir Richard Bishop for years.
last term, i had a project for my degree based around hackney wick, by the olympic park site. midway through the term, there's a fire there.
now, i have a project based around camden and camden market. what should happen now? another fire.
what's going on?
im quite sad about the hawley arms, even though it was a bit 'trendy' and winehouse and those lot were always there i had afew great nights...
once when me and a friend were scraping some money together in a drunk manner and didnt have enough for another round, a lady bought us some drinks just because she felt nice, which was lovely of her.
i hope there is some foulplay involved with this fire though, camden market at its most recent was truely horrific
