1) This whole suggestion that some extra Premiership games should be staged in foreign cities sounds quite fun. But, surely it's only fair that the same offer be advanced to teams in the lower leagues. I for one would love to see AFC Bournemouth play in foreign climes, Port Stanley perhaps or Grozny.
2) Indie kids in bingo halls: About 5 years ago there seemed to be a bit of a vogue for the skinny jeans brigade to go and play bingo, I was never quite sure whether this was ironic bingo or whether they were actually into it. Either way you can't argue with 40p for a cup of tea and the chance to win some beer money. So, do 'the kids' still do this then or was it a bizarre phenomenon restricted to Yorkshire?
3)Juno or There Will Be Blood, which to see? Also, how nice to have a choice of two great looking movies to go and watch for a change.
