whatever happened to Grooverider?
One man has even been jailed for possession of three poppy seeds left over from a bread roll he ate at Heathrow Airport. Painkiller codeine is also banned.
greece for 1
and only just ran out. If you take enough it makes you really high (I did have it for legitimate reasons) and last time I had it was in hysterics on a bus on the way to A&E. Jesus.
I've taking paracetamol with codeine and not noticed much of a difference.
like, not sold. Or banned like, possesion is illegal?
believe he is still there tho. That's crazy!
he'd have been collared? or was it more to do with him wearing the uniform of someone who eats weed for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
quite terrifying; from he's black, how can he afford property!! To well done we should have a drugs policy like that!! God I hope one day they ban alcohol in this country and the third Reich supporting daily mail.
though, what dyou expect from anyone posting on the Daily Mail website ?
So, trace amounts are just picked up from the floor or brushing against something, or maybe the come wafting through the air?
I have not altered that quote.
IT'S WAFTING THROUGH THE MIIIIDNIGHT SKYYYYYY
AND EVERYONE WHO SEES IT
GREETS IT AS IT FLIIIIIIIES
'this doesn't sit right with me'
The comment is still hilariously weird, though:
'Surely the real question here is how does a "youth worker" from the West Midlands with a family to provide for, afford properties in two different countries and be able to afford to travel back and forth regularly. Is there a house price boom currently going on in Ethiopia? Or am I in the wrong job?'
The same people who ridiculed the Archbishop's calls for Sharia law in England will now talk about the unfairness of the Dubai system. You can't have it both ways - either Dubai is entitled to maintain its own legal code, or England has to adopt some element of Sharia law.

I can't work out what the fuck they're trying to say. Sounds like they have no idea what contradictory actually means.
Point taken but all?
I find that hard to believe, but then I suppose a hell of a lot of people do coke
They are ALL cunts.
but at the same time, you arent in a dubai jail at the minute....i think, so just be prepared for next time!!! take all your drugs before you get on/off
10 years in jail. next.
the worse thing ive ever done is take a vegetable knife to a club. they didnt even find...though i didnt stab anyone either
and i went out straight after. i totally forgot it was in there.
funny how often that kind of thing happens. my mate flew back from holiday once (i forget where) and had two pills in his wash bag and totally didnt realise. neither did anyone else
is having a joke with these comments though?! Sweet and holy mother of fucking idiots!!
"Good on these authorities for actually enforcing the law of the land, I have no pity for the suspects and criminals whom they have caught, some ignorant, some stupid and some simply brazen. It seems that suspect "profiling" is alive, well and working effectively in some parts of the world.
It's a shame that our own establishment is so weak by comparison.

This does not sit right, but why can't Britain be strong like other countries.
- Kim, Brighton"
Can't think of many places I would rather not go to than Dubai!
you smoked a legal joint in amsterdam and went over there and they found traces of it in your blood, could they prosecute you then?
Have to say that is far too extreme, found on the bottom of his shoe, meaning he could have stepped on it unaware.
has been adjourned until the end of this month, where he will be able to submit his defence. Not that it is likely to do him much good. Just be4 his hearing on Monday a 44 year old lady who has 4 children, was sentenced to the mandatory 4 years for having a rolled up joint. When in rome and all that but this surely this is ridiculous there should be more done at governmental level to stop this unjust punishments for what would be a minor offence in almost every other country..
for 2 grams of cannabis.
On a serious note, that is just ... wow... I mean, we need to be respectful of other countries laws and so on but he is very very very unlucky. I wonder if he is being made 'an example' of..?
it is ridiculous but I think they are often this strict.
a lessor sentance... ?
What's Fabio gonna do without him?
I might have to go and buy a shit load of old skool Grooverider in support.. He was the FIRST dnb artist I ever got into and shaped my dancefloor a zillion years back.
followed by high up hand shakes..
Or head nods driving around listening to him on radio shows at 4am. Yup. Fun days.
Fabio's probably better off without him. He's got his night Swerve which seems to do pretty well, and Groove's drug problems in the past have always been a bit of a blight on their CV.
He could well get a release in August as they tend to have a spate of pardonings when Ramadan comes round.
... I predict they may pardon him if he behaves.
Unless everyone else jailed for the same level of drug possession in Dubai gets pardoned too?
not the guy with the speck on his shoe.
has that thought every entered your head?
Then again, this may be the polar opposite.
sorry, i just posted this as news on the music forum not noticing it had already been covered here. *dunce*
