dogs. or when their dog's gone to sleep, do they IMMEDIATELY turn all the lights off. how do they know which ones are on and which are off?

and not distinguish items/figures/etc. by light, then wouldn't you still most likely keep the lights off so you could tell what time of day it is?
is exactly the situation that prompted me to think it... going from the bathroom to my bed. which i'm in now. yawn.

they wouldn't be able to tell if the lights were on or off, unless they decided to touch the bulbs. So probably depends if their guest left the lights on.
