The last two girls I've fancied have both told their friends they've fancied me and been fairly obvious in trying to get my attention.

On both occasions I asked them out, they seemed fairly uninterested and then pulled the plug shortly afterwards.

I'me very confused. Does anyone have any similar experiences with girls or boys?
