walking down a main road, when someone pased me on a mobility scooter. They had a bicycle bell to let people know that they wanted to get through.
The driver came to a girl with headphones on, and when she couldn't hear the bell, mobility scooter driver maneuvered past her and hit her scornfully on the way past.
Not sure how one goes about pasing someone, but it sounds painful.
but I enjoyed the phrase "a fairly elderly lady". Looking at that picture, she's more than 'fairly'.
