Following it's hugely successful debut in the US, GLADIATORS returns for another round of the ultimate David and Goliath battle where everyday amateurs will compete against a new breed of Gladiator - our charismatic and eclectic warriors - in contests of physical strength and endurance. 24 'contenders' take on one of TVs toughest challenges in the hope of becoming crowned Gladiator Champion 2008.

Gladiators will include such classic events as The Joust, The Wall, Hang Tough and, of course, The Eliminator. The iconic event has been reinvented for the 21st century with bigger thrills and maximum impact using special effects, water skills and the latest technology.
