according to my Mum.
First Heath Ledger, now Beadle....
i would definitely think that the two deaths are related. sarkyfox said something about all of her teen crushes dying, perhaps she is responsible for this one as well?
Amazingly, someone has updated his Wikipedia page already. They don't waste any time, do they?
oddly he didn't have a picture up.
you have to HAND it to him
Is far too soon, i apologise...
he actually had much more of an impact on my life than Heath Ledger.
it was his face on the cover of some bruce lee film or something.
cant wait for sickipedia to get hold of this.
in their horrible ways, telling their users that people have DIED.
I can't think of many worse things.
this is actually rubbish!!!
younger than my dad as well, which always creeps me out
to be buried
Lets hope God looks favourably upon all those horrible pranks you pulled on tradesmen and junior management, and all that laughing at unfortunate kids, pets, and newlyweds expense in the 80's and 90's and realises you were just trying to bring a little light entertainment to the nation.
yes he is.
but it's certainly more than that. It's presumably sanctioned to laugh because he was a wacky character, producer of poor TV and much referenced by crap comedians/cultural commentators. He was Id argue more significant to British life than Heath Ledger.
I just think it's interesting
beadle was surely a more relevant character to people of our generation? national institution! i wouldn't have known heath ledger i i'd passed him in the street. if i saw beadle about then it would have made my day!
always be about to me.
i made that point twenty minutes earlier
that made no sense
He made some awful TV but was actually a nice guy.
jeremy beadle's got a massive cock.
But on the other hand, it's tiny?
Because if it was, kudos. If not, I'll crawl off and die horribly somewhere.
than I was about Heath Ledger (who?)
Once i've got this exam out the way tomorrow I will watch a load of vans falling into rivers on youtube in rememberance :(
I didn't even know who Heath Ledger was.
the 'wanking claw' episode of the office in memory.
Is this a hoax?
i would LOVE it if Beadle actually was playing an elaborate prank on us all.
that would be the best episode of Beadles About ever
That would be the best pwning ever. I'd have to hold up my hands and say 'fair play, Jez, fair play'. And then I'd watch as an angry mob beat him to actual death.
because they were gutted at being denied another public mass bereavement?
In hindsight, it's strange to see how innocent people were back then. As if anyone would believe this.
Bring on the car crushings! They were always my favourite ones.
My mum told me he died of shock from someone playing a prank on him, getting their revenge or something. God I'm a sucker. Oh yeah, RIP Beadle.
utmost reverence to the death of a pretty actor, but it's ok to mock Beadle?
I'm genuinely saddened by this. Still, it's probably what he would have wanted.
jeremy beadle pretty much defined annoying 90s television for me. which pretty much defines me.
beyond the tv apparently he has raised over 100 million for charity. not bad going.
he is "the joker who hoaxed a nation" that's all the evidence i need
Dedicated a great deal of his time to helping others and not once did we hear him harping on about it. RIP.
was out having dinner and thought it was one of those 'leeds festival' type rumours.
never shall i mock again.
I'm very sad about this, and I know there'll be many jokes at his expense but bless him, I never understood why he was so vilified by the press in his heyday. Wankers.
Anyone whos death requires a eulogy from Henry Kelly deserves everyones respect.
I don't think he was really vilified. He was an irritating sort of presenter but rare in that it didn't really make you dislike *him*. I just wouldn't want to watch his programmes.
But he clearly could take a joke as well as dish them out so that's good.
they worked together, I just like Henry Kelly being involved.
Critics vilified him, they were nasty at times for reasons unknown, as if the man had single handedly dumbed down a nation.
I met him once and he was a lovely chap, RIP Jeremy
