There are mice in my flat - AGAIN!
What is an effective way of getting rid of them that makes sure they never return?
It's the only way to be safe.
then a dog, then a horse, then a cow.
each one lures something different to it's death
a rat in my kitchen. And that's not a UB40 based joke I actually did have a rat living under my kitchen cabinets. When I eventually realised said rat was living their I booted him out. Think my cat may have brought him/her in as a baby and they'd been living there a while...
My cat also brings in various mice (mostly still alive) who I then have to chase around the house and try and catch in boxes to release back to the wild cos I can't bring myself to kill them..
So in summary getting a cat may not be the best idea..
you dirty tramp
and still have mice.
you know nothing clearly.. I didn't invite the thing in !
I have a 'humane' trap to try and catch the one I keep hearing scratching around my room but it's not working.
Since I put the traditional kind downstairs I havn't seen any, none have been caught but they're doing a good job of staying of the way. I'm going to put one of these ones in my room, although I am not looking forward to clearing up the mess afterwards.
we left the mouse in a cage in the shed cos it stank and a rat got in and ate it.
you get thousands of dogs barking outside your front door instead
standing on top of the 'ultra sonic' thingy.
most constructive thing anyone has said so far. Good work Mr El Biscuit.
before using poison we used 'humane traps' which didn't work, and followed that up with an 'ultra sonic mouse repellor' that was utter shit.
we had mice in the flat. then we put poison down. then we had dead mice in the flat. job done
i got one of those ultra sonic mouse repellent things you plug in. £20 from woolworths and it worked i think.
however i absolutely fucking hate mice, they freak me out and made me go weird in my old house and i was convinced they were still there.
and then when we moved out, my housemate found mouse poo in his bed :-(
and i watched a mouse die in my living room because next door poisoned it. its little chest stopped going up and down.
so from my experience, poison the fuckers.
I did this and it worked. Also make sure that there is no food at an accessible height.
Also I like mice and wouldn't mind a little mouse family living in my house.
