i'm thinking of getting (renting) a place all of my own when i go back to newcastle in (hopefully) september and i'm wondering if any other lovely 20somethings on here have lived alone.

sure i'll be able to get on with essays without much distraction, be free from the usual dirty dishes, cleaning the bathroom housemate squabbles and be free to bring home anyone i want to without being judged...
but is it worth the extra cost of having to pay all the bills myself?
