so, it's been out a while but i saw it last night.

i thought it was really good.

i don't think i've seen a gangster film where the main gangsters have been black, and not irish/italian. it was a welcome change from the 'normal' portrayal of black gangsters as 'yo bitches, let's fuck some bitches dawg' or suchlike.

also, i never realised that hard drug use was so widespread within the US forces in vietnam.
