Saw it earlier today at a preview thing. Wonderful movie, great, funny, quirky. Well worth a watch.
I agree, great film. Nice ending
it's just the best film i've seen in ages
but had too much work to do. Bugger. Really want to see it still.
just because she doesnt have an abortion doesnt mean its a pro life film
the directors of both this and Knocked Up pointed out that if the characters had had abortions, they'd be very short films!
Does it have the Funeral For A Friend song of the same name in it?
1. abortion is an option raised in the film.
2. No FFAF song.
3. Evan from Superbad is from arrested development.
but this was the worst film i've seen in ages. no real emotions during a major life crisis. no real relationships between ANY of the characters. no realism at all in terms of the way the pregnancy affected juno or the way others reacted to it. juno is a really really second rate enid. the dialogue is SO annoying, just as annoying as the soundtrack. knocked up is far superior.
knocked up was absolute rubbish
juno was just trying to buy cred by making it look like a quirky indie flick and making terrible band and film references
may as well have been watching dawsons creek
I loved it, it's not pro or anti-abortion. I'm no cinematographer but one of my favourite bits about it was the filters they used on the camera for the outside shots, the contrast in seasons was amazing.
Great soundtrack too. Haven't seen No Country For Old Men yet so at the moment is the best film I've seen for a good while.
Saw it earlier, too. Absolutely loved it. Really sweet, but wickedly funny and really quite moving in places. Michael Cera is a living legend, just the sight of him in his gratuitously revealing shorts had everyone in the cinema in fits of laughter. Plus, oodles of Melvins references.
I can't wait until it goes on general release, I already want to watch it again.
