## Oh yeah

my prelim is tomorrow so if i fail it's sort of your fault

BYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEE

## what time

will you be here til.

my brother will do it when he gets in*.

*i shall tell him to.

## this could be bollox but...

we think that Sn = 11n - 2(sum of k ranging from 1 to n)...which becomes 11n - 2(n(n+1)/2)...

which is 11n - n(n+1)

than again we think the moon is made of cheese, Gordon Brown is wonderfully dynamic and the current musical scene is inspiring.

The mathematical hippos

## You, sir, are correct, and the winner of 1000000 cool points

Thanks!

## i've totally forgotten what those signs even mean

good luck

## Nearly there.

## Come on, you can be my hero baby

## Aye, aye.

I just finished it on paint.

## here

## Thanks!

its starting to make a little more sense now. Still can't work out that (n^2-n)/2 thing though.

I'm fucked.

## I know,

I had to dick about a bit for it.

it's almost like the amount of games they play in a football league but that is n(n-1), n(n-1)/2 for round robin.

Me = geek.

I wanted the three lines for equivalent but they were not forthcoming.

## I found a little note in one of my books saying

1/2n(n+1) = that sigma thing

Ok, i'm just gonna remember that and take the books word.

I will get my head roundi t after the exam.

Now, onto imaginary numbers! Huzzah!

## Who the fuck wrote that question?

## The scottish exam board

It orginally read:

Given that Uk=11-2k, (k more than or equal to 1), obtain a formula for

then that equation for Sk. I don't know how to write it out in text.

## Okay

That makes sense. What you wrote didn't make sense.

## Good luck!

## i know that should be easy for me

but i really can't remember.

i suck
