Pre-Zonino meet-up at the Oxford St Branch?
do you think nerds have to spend money on?
i dunno, you tell me
how's that working out for you?
marvelously thanks sweetpea. how about you?
Can I borrow them? PLEASE.
considering that the bikes are a fiver each, war boys would be about £3 each, and i can't imagine how much the war truck would be
(going on 1996 prices)
£20-25 probably, thats what tanks and dreadnoughts were.
(see you there)
but in the gayest way that you can play warhammer, making it pretty damn gay. I didn't even play the game, just bought and painted the figures. Musta've spent hundreds of my (dad's) money on it.
2100 point Eldar 40k army. All unpainted. My battle grey metalli force wiped the floor with those decorated space marine nancies.
I was once told that I should enter golden demon, but grew up approximately two months before I could.
Worst boy-band ever?
to be a keen warhammer fan....although i wasnt a geek enough to be really into it...i didnt really get it. ok im just pretending i used to run the Games Workshop Club at school
If it's Man o' War I might get an earlier flight back from Berlin
I had completely repressed that memory. do they still all shout WWWAAAGGGGGHHHH and freak out passer bys on the street?
is the staff at those shops! :)
I'm surprised they havent gone under.
werent those things forty quid back in the day?
I remember the days when a box of 20 night goblins cost a tenner. It's almost double that now. (Not that I'd know of course...ahem.)
i still have it all in my garage, i should consider ebaying all that crap i might get enough money to pay for a night of cocaine and prostitutes that i feel i need to get my reputation back to a neutral position after this admission.
the snes game is one of my favourite things EVAR
The sounds of Tool and the smell of superglue and poly cement.
melted polystyrene by the way.
thats how it works.
that the non-metal figurenes were made of.
it melts a small layer on both surfaces
and then they dry
and theyre the same piece of plastic!!!!
thats why they stick together. it melts the plastic a little, then they set together. thats why (if used properly) it sets plastic better than superglue does.
I bet they're on the 8th edition rulebook for 40K by now.
I got told that they've really dumbed-down the rules in order to make the game quicker.
I hope they haven't got rid of wargear cards, strategy cards and all the special saving throws etc that special characters had!
from the ork army :'(
I hope the Ork leaders are still called Nobs!!!!
In the psychic round, how did you resolve the Ultimate Force vs Demonic Attack issue?
Alas, I never played with these rules. :( I remember some of the effects of messing up in the psychic round (perils of the warp tests, etc.)
I think this is the one I'm most upset about. Can someone tell me what I'm missing?
boxed set. 3 bikes, some boyz and a truck.
man this thread really makes me want to play 40k again. Preferably with impenetrable original rules prior to crass commercial streamlining.
