yes. me and my lady have now both got london jobs and a london flat.
i wont be speaking to em
I don't mind Fulham in itself though.
to barons court tube which is really nice, its on the very edge of sw6
basically right next door to me, then.
Near Lillie Road?
of bothwell street. nice area? tips?
£300 of the deposit in advance.
hammersmith. queens is about 7 minutes walk away. lols.
I SO cannot wait for the rapture!
When's the housewarming? ;)
its not really big enough for a proper do but maybe we'll have something once we're unpacked. its a 1 bed flat on the top floor of a converted townhouse thingy. 895, which is pretty amazing considering its just off fulham palace road. it was also the second place we looked at in london; thus it actually took us 4 days to find somewhere in a really good location. my luck is currently at an all time high. touch wood.
when's the party?
i was intrigued as to why anyone would rejoice and exclaim the event of getting a flat (tyre)...
Are you moving in time for zonino?
we'll be moving on the weekend of the 16th feb. strong shouldered volunteers apply via pm, to be paid in free sugarcoma singles which i don't have.
for you !
If you need any help moving, just shout.
good work summers, your absence from sushi is now excused.
to find something not too expensive and not too shabby in a really nice area. good transport links, my lady can walk to work, etc.
but you have to put some work in and be very quick and decisive. best thing is to go in the week if you can, saturdays are mega busy and things go quick.
cos i'm excited.
I'll be crashing round soon.
when do you move in?
I think I can pin it down to one of 3. Averill, Delorme or Greyhound. Am I right??
corner of lillie/bothwell street. its called st. clements mansions.
so do I!
in exactly the same building as me.
What are the chances??
is it okay to live in? any problems?
Who is your landlord though?
My 'advice' would be the walk through the cemetry to barons court in the mornings so you can see the squirrels.
Also, your 'local' (The Puzzle) is the worst pub in London. It's on the corner of greyhound rd and fulham palace road. But there is a nice pub called the Crabtree. Which is hidden away in the posh suburban houses on the other side of Fulham Palace Road.
Oh, and go down to the river lots. The Dove is one of the best pubs in London. The food in there is great too.
The area is perfectly safe but don't walk east along Lillie Rd late at night.
If you need a supermarket, there's a 24 hr tescos just north of Hammersmith Broadway at Brook Green. If you want to buy food from independent grocers head up to Shepherds Bush Green. There's also a decent fruit+veg market on North End Road in West Kensington, which is about 15 minutes walk away.
Oh, and if you're sure still there in 2009/2010 then don't vote Tory.
yet, waiting to sign contract at the moment. the voting non-tory is a given.
Is everyone leaving/being made redundant?
i am leaving of my own free will.
I think it's alright pub, except on Chelsea match days
They have a barbeque though
I can't believe you're in the same building as JacobJones. incredible.
with samantha janus and another crap woman where they live opposite a greasy businessman and show how cool they are with their ladetteness. and every now and then the comedy tory GG will drive down the street in his porsche shouting 'out of our streets you scum!' and the studio audience will laugh.
it was launched as "the British Friends". GOOD ONE ITV
