You seem to be football loving folks here. Anyone going in any small part to the above?
I even wasted £50 on englandfans+ membership (it's got a plus sign!) so i'd have a better chance of getting tickets.
Then England went and cunted up and now I don't feel like going to watch Latvia vs Poland (or whoever qualified) so i'm off to Roskilde instead.
but I can honestly say I haven't looked forward to a major competition so much for ages. With England out, I can actually enjoy it.
I'll be able to read the sports section in a newspaper without getting into a rage. Still haven't decided who, if anyone, I'm going to back
I'll just be able to enjoy the football rather than spending most of the tournament watching England stutter towards their inevitable failure.
Portugal should be entertaining to watch.
really I do. I am so looking forward to the tournament. It's going to be so good to watch knowing that abject disappointment isn't just around the corner. I'm going to buy a replica shirt of a random team and learn the words to their national anthem.
They'll have to talk about the game they're actually showing or something instead of spending 95% of their time on "the England camp".
the programme will start 15 seconds before kick off and end 15 seconds after. Either that or they'll spend half an hour talking about Lewis Hamilton.
Italy, Holland or Spain?
Holland are surely out of the question then?
I guess I was thinking too much about it
but Robin Van Persie is a religion in his own right.
for the group stages and see where that gets me. Maybe Croatia as well.
make me wish i was croatian.
But I'll watch what I can. Great to know we should get some proper coverage of things for once and hopefully Ian Wright won't be rolled out this year either. Probably actually enjoy this tournament without all the insane "England are going to win the competition" stuff
Its going to be brilliant.
All that hanging around with europeans, eating nice pastries and drinking fancy lager. Cheap to get to, really good time, and no England fans.
already Polish, German, Dutch and Italian fans going to be there. Too many fans with bad reputations spoil the broth.
Austria, Germany and Poland all in the same group. Hungary let everyone down.
It's going to be madness.
if only the Czech Republic had been in the 'Greater German Reich' group as well...
is a special player. One day, he'll be an arsenal player.
he's already too expensive for Arsenal...
we have the money to splash the cash a bit now.
He'll join us.
would spend more than 30M € for one player. And with Adebayor, Da Silva and Walcott, do you really need him ?
in midfield (in a 4-5-1). You can never have too many good players.
We are good at haggling as well.
should be a waste...
into a striker. Look at the bigger picture Lyle.
for another year...
Don't think i'll be going to any Austria games unless my uncle and cousin have sorted out tickets.
Just going for fun...because Austria are rubbish.
but i'll be supporting FOOTBALL!!!
i hope Italy pick Rosina, De Natale and Quagliarella and play 4-3-3. i can dream.
Anyone but Italy anyway.
going with the lager louts of europe the spanish.
World Cup '06 following them was so amazing. Probably the best experience of my life.
I'll definitely be at Euro 2012 though.
Ukraine in world cup 06. it was fun.
we got further than you.
that was fun.
but I'll be in moderate support of Croatia and France, and generally hoping for lots of 4-3s.
to Portugal for 2004, following Denmark. Fucking fantastic time, Italian and Bulgarian fans were brilliant people to hang about with. And I wore nothing but a flag and a horned helmet for weeks. Brilliant.
This time Denmark are staying at home, and so shall I :(
