In the hope that this will finally be the day I truly become a Mac convert
You'd be cmd-r'ing
Why isn't there a live video stream?
So i'm hoping theres gonna be something to do with that.
shouldn't be there and maybe should be a different word.
Though if apple made a summery laptop - complete with floral patterns and Sunny D - i'd be all over it like flies on meat.
Also, the original wording of my post is odd. It sounds as if Jobs is gonna be like "Hey guys, josh is getting a laptop soon. Rad!"
I mean i hope they announce some cool update to the laptops or something
I dont know what i'm saying any more.
i'm a moron
which isn't terribly useful for music and so on...
Tell us some tech news, you fuckers!
Would you get an Apple subnotebook.
I'm in luck!
We'll find out in the next two hours!
just wow. Sigh.
but if it was still the best choice when the Vaio died, for sure.
I would have bought a MacBook last time out but they were just too heavy/bulky for my needs.
I think Jobs neglected to mention it's actually made of wafer-thin ham though.
he's your best friend. micro$oft SUCK!
Randy Newman is talking!
Anyone care to summarise what's going on? Pretty please?
"I usually root against corporations because that's just who I am, but not this one."
i am so drunk
The only thing I am dubious about is the 5 hour quoted lifetime on the battery.
My ancient VAIO has 7 hours quoted (and the newest versions are even higher) and I know it does a good 5 hours. So the toss up here is between batter life and size. The MacBook air is bigger in size.
Like the sound of an LED screen, though. OLED I presume.
though i completely don't need somthing that nimble.
Let me get this straight: you can only play cds/dvds off a usb drive?
PC or Mac in your house.
It's like nothing ever seen before!
if it weren't for the £280 (at current exchange rates) difference between the US and UK prices. How on earth can they justify that?
strength of our economy?
I would expect to pay more, given how weak the dollar is at the moment, but £280 is wholly exploitative, roughly a 30% mark up!
