I've been following this for months now, I really can't wait, J.J. Abrams is actually a genius.
it is, it is, it is
I've never actually seen Lost.
Seriously. Can people just fuck off about this movie until they've actually got a picture of the monster to show us?
Piece of shit film.
a release date, and a longer trailer now. Bring on Feb 1st.
Hopefully in the US that's it and then we'll know.
FYI, here's the proper trailer with more stuff in it:
Not sure about the US release date, I'd assume that's still it, but over here it's now February 1st.
also, slagging off both people hyping a film that they haven't seen and a film you haven't seen in the same post? LOLZ THEO, LOLZ
and the fact that I STILL don't know what the cunting monster looks like.
Also, that trailer is now very old. The one I just posted is better.
Apparently this is very close to the monster, according to people who've seen previews in America - http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a188/xboyonfirex/cloverfieldmonster3.jpg, also here: http://www.wwtdd.com/post.phtml?pk=3375
I think it's either going to be amazing and really scary, or shit and hilarious - either way: win.
What happened to the giant whale?
it was all thought up by fans based on the slusho! information, and people started taking it as gospel. apparently slusho hardly features in the film at all, and most of the viral marketing is totally irrelevant. the monster apparently receives little backstory, but most of the fan reviews i've read so far have enjoyed it...
If I'm lucky I can get to thinking it'll be so rubbish that by the time I see it it's not the colossal disappointment it threatens to be.
what Theo posted above but I'm sure there's already been a 5 minute preview which has all that's in the official trailer (and more, obviously).
Hopefully, it'll be good and hearing about parasites being involved has added an extra dimension for me.
just came back from a preview screening. it's scary stuff and very atmospheric although the hand-held camera made me feel nauseous.
i was really impressed actually with what they managed to achieve on such a low budget. it gets a thumbs up from me.
