I really hope they can sort themselves out soon. Blackwell has jumped from the proverbial sinking ship. Buy them Nick Owen! Put 'child killer' (quote from david laslett) Anne Diamond in charge
but I'm sure anyone whose been there, particularly as an away fan, will agree with me when I say their horrible fans and horrible ground won't be missed.
that's not very nice
what do you expect if you go in "the wrong pub" in colours / obviously an away fan?
Not within a good mile and a half of the ground at least.
There is also nowhere to park either, meaning you have to work through the backstreets past countless scroats on street corners "asking you for the time mate" waiting to cave the first remotely differing accented person's head in.
And anyone who says a ground where going to the toilet involves taking a piss in someone's living room has charm needs to get out more!
But the away end isn't nice. Despite the fact that my team (Plymouth Argyle) and Luton have a bit of history between each other that all goes to one side when a club could potentially vanish.
They would be a loss to the football league.
team nicknamed the hatters.
before and after Luton v Forest's game in October is some of the worst I've seen in over 20 years of supporting Forest both home and away, and there were over 50 arrests too.
takes two to tango...
Wolves are spending big money, just signed Sylvain Ebanks Blake from us as well for 1.5 million :-(
But that post about "countless scrotes on street corners" on the way to the ground is bullshit, if you're talking about the walk from the train station.
I rarely wear club colours and I've never experienced that, even though I come in from London via the station for nearly every home game.
Some of Blackwell's tactics/starting line-ups until recently were dodgy. I've still got admiration for him for sticking around until after the transfer window when he could have fucked off now and no-one would have blamed him.
It's astonishing that the other bid as well as Nick Owen's is from one of our past chairmen, Cliff Bassett. That's like Leeds getting Ridsdale back.
and we hate Watford and we hate Watford...repeat ad nauseum.
Sad to see my local side whose games I've been to a fair few sides go down the pan like it has.
