Okay, so I was walking home from the pub tonight, headphones in but not too loud, when suddenly this CD comes flying past my head from a car cruising and a clearly audible "haha, you ginger bastard" was heard.

This isn't the first time such prejudice has happened.

A few days before I set home from Glasgow a white workvan was passing by as I walked to uni when one guy rolled down hiss window and shouted "Ginger!".

Totally unnecessary.

Why is this not racism?

And why are people such bastards.

I would shave my head but then I'd look like a fucking ned.
