In Martin we trust!
In Kevin we ... er.rr.r
Laursen & O'Neal, yummy. I expect us (Villa) to go one up in the first half, getting my hopes up for the second only for Saha to score a hatrick. THEN SALIFOU!!!!! Of the bench, hatrick, wooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooo
Passion, heart and unadulterated optimism, hoping Gabby and Ash make fools of their defence.
no chance. He's a fucking wreck these days
Might get me the new 3rd kit with the big mans name on.
appaerntly...would be nice to see him get a run out.If things are going well, i don't know if our Martin would risk it though.
Has a nice ring to it. In a way going out of the cup so early (if we do) could be a blessing. With Everton in U-waffer cup & Pompy losing half their team to africa could create a great chance for the villa to finish top 6. Would like to see city fade away by the end of the season as well.
...they have just stuck his head in a square bottom right in the team photo, classy.
but i do believe winning is always preferable, without stating the bleeding obvious. It creates an innate confidence that sides then take into every game they play, whether it be cup or league. Man U a prime example.
I would love to win on saturday, my housemates a United fan and we always lose to them so just for bragging rights it would be amazing.
I'm happy with the way we are playing at presnet, we came through the manager & player of the month curse quite well plus the remaining home games we have are all winnable so a cup run would be grand. Up the Villa
good times! i remember chucking my chair after the 3rd went in. Teenage anger was fun.
has re-kindled a love i thought had died a long time ago...
come on the villa!
John O'Shea will start tomorrow :(
love to see it though, of course.
feel very ill.
lurking around...Wigan to stay up Small Heath back where they belong. Goooooo on Stevie Bruce xx
I smell a cup run and a mid-table finish.!
and then we'll see
You genuinely are on crack. All we need are some 'raised on porridge' defenders so we can retire secret agent ridgewell to the reserves and maybe an attacking midfielder to feed the fors and we'll be hanging round, outsinging you on derby day for many years to come.
Thank you for reminding me of Agent R's finest Villa goal...absolutely hilarious!! I'll be suprised if any of you Small Heathers turn up in April. If I remember rightly dearest nose, you couldn't sell out your shithole xx
my misguided fellow citizen, we shall see. McLeish is turning things around in a way ol' potato-head could never dream of. I look forward to hearing you on the phone to Tom Ross after the next derby crying your vile little heart out.
McLeish God bless im...adding further footballing drabness to an already drab side. Kapo's the best player you've got but McLeish will continue to over look any player who dares to suggest abit of flair and God forbid, entertaining football.
See you later stinky xx
Tom Ross: "And now on the line we have a young disgruntled villa fan"
You: "Yes tom, i love the vill-a wiv me 'art and soul but i gotta admit today we under-estimated blues. I was never expecting them to score 3 in a million years"
Tom: "Well football is constantly teaching you lessons my lad, remember that. Now to Gary in Tipton who's a baggies fan."
that's exactly the sort of match Big Sam can bounce back on, there'll be talk of being "a big club with a bright future" after the inevitable 1-0
away fixture innit.
Burnley will be chuffed if they manage 2 goals against Arsenal! Good if Wednesday did win, don't think it'll happen though. City will draw with West Ham and beat them in the replay.
They're having just as bad a season, only a division below.
Derby have looked much improved lately.
I remember listening to the 3-1 win at Villa Park on Five live back in the day when you dont win anything with kids, good times.
Aston Villa are only any good against Chelsea.
Is hardly a lynchpin is he!
Reckon Villa could do it - but only if Barry isn't too tired to pull the strings and Gabby and Young are up to pace.
is kinda the lyncpin, without him to play off Gabby and Young would struggle (see v spurs playing of an invisable Moore) and we don't have any other real centre forward big man type thing (no offence £4mil Harewood)
p.s. Villa will lose
