I don't think there's a limit on the shared folder feature.
Both people leave their computers on overnight or something like that.
Would that do?
msn has a tendency to close for no reason sometimes though, i lost connection 4/5ths through a 250mb send. wonion to the max.
but that's the single file transfer thing, I mean the shared folder feature. That stops and continues whenver you're online. Disconnecting doesn't affect it, you just start again where you left off.
never tried that tbh
i reckon that's probably unreliable because msn has crashed on me numerous times with large downloads... although having said that, never tried the shared folder thingy...
It's a lot better than the crappy single file transfer.
zip and sendspace?
some emails would let you send that much too i guess...
probably be quicker to burn to disk and post though!
have to send it aren't i?
Use winrar, archive the file into 8 parts of 100MB, upload it to divshare.com or another friendly free hosting service?
Ooh, Divshare allows 200MB single file uploads, so you could do it in four parts.
with www.fileden.com and upload it there.
not the fastest way, but pretty simple.
good solution. cheers!
Bear in mind, for 800 megs, you're going to be paying for it. Or at least signing up if you haven't already.
just archiving it as 4 seperate bits
