*begin music-related itunes rant*

Ok, so I've attempting to rip my cd collection into itunes on numerous occassions (and believe me, this computer is so slow it takes a ridiculous amount of time), at least 3 times as this computer has been virused and re-installed a few times so I keep having to do it again and again.

I started again a few days ago and today, I ripped THE.LAST.CD. and promised myself that I'd save my library onto a re-writable dvd or something so I never had to do this again.

I go on the net for a while and eventually decide to open itunes and sync my ipod with all the new albums I've ripped today.

SHOCK, HORROR!

there are NO songs in the music library and all my playlists have disappeared...I restart the computer and try again, but no, it's official...all the songs I've spent the past few days putting in itunes have gone.

so yeah, I'm like...a LITTLE annoyed.

how's everyone else doing?
