I only have the basic channels and havn't got a TV guide yet. Anything worth watching on?
apparently Kylie Minogue will be playing the TARDIS!
Not sure I could cope with Mika, The Hoosiers and the like.
will be on on Christmas Day, I assume. It's always good for a giggle.
I miss Top Of The Pops.
you no longer have the danger of stumbling into the abattoir that is Noel's Christmas Presents.
that sounds terrible! I'm kinda missing E4 and Film4 though.
I now have a nightmare where Noel Edmonds jumps out of a christmas present under the tree brandishing some kind of festive knitwear.
Now they're too young to remember when Noel on a BBC1 Christmas Day was just about the only constant on British television.
Matron, pass me my revolver, I'm off for a walk in the woods.
There seems to be numerous showings of something called 'To be Confirmed' over the holiday - anyone seen it?
or something like that.
and the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures, but a bit more slapstick.
there is the Extras special, but Ricky Gervais is such a cock these days I don't know whether I'm looking forward to it or not. Oh, and there's a few Top Gear-related things on and a Never Mind the Buzzcocks festive edition.
But for some reason there's a Christmas special of After You've Gone, which is fucking woeful. No idea what the Beeb were thinking with that one.
Oh, and The Royal Tenenbaums is on BBC1 in the small hours of New Year's Eve though, which is nice.
apart from Buzzcocks, although I hate it now Bill is back. Think I'll be watching DVDs all day again.
especially as it's the only time of year when people actively look forward to the schedules.
Sexy Beast followed by Old Boy
Old Boy? The Asian one? Cool, I'll be watching that with my brandy.
Get in from the pub then watch that. awesome..
It was shit then and it'll be shit now. I only ever watched it once and its the most depressing thing ever.
has been the only thing I have looked forward to for the last few years. It's not quite as good anymore due to the scheduling/being on Channel 5 but still clearly the best thing on TV.
throwing ovens over bales of hay?
i agree with you actually, it rules.
has got to tbe the must see of the festive period. period?
