after NYE i was told i didn't have to come back till the 3rd. fine.
but, because i won't have any holiday off, this means that i'll lose 2 days pay. NYE i can deal with, but one of these days is the 2nd Jan, a wednesday.
i was told i didn't have to come in on that day. but i won't get paid for the day off. so, i said i'd rather come in and get paid than not come in and not get paid.
but a manager has said that's not possible.
wtf? so basically i'm being told i can't come in, but won't get paid for it?
does this make sense to anyone?
