I'm off from Thursday 20th Dec 2007 until January 4th 2008.
I'm pretty happy with this.
not too bad.
Probably the 7th or something.
at 5 until 9am on the 2nd. I can't wait. I love the xmas break.
25th - 3rd, all without pay. Donations welcome.
the end of Friday and back Wednesday 2nd afternoon
i am of xmas eve to boxing day, then new years eve to the 2nd.
i chose to work in between...
to 2nd Jan. Which isn't all that impressive, really.
likewise, not happy
to 9am 27th Jan
But i'm on my notice period.. so may be a bit lazy.
Unfortunately someone needs to be in the office in case there's some kind of 'Major Incident', and I had Xmas off last year.
new year's day.
i get three extra days off next summer. when it's warm. and light. and interesting things happens. i'm quite happy with this arrangement :D
until january 28th
would only be until Jan 2nd if I was starting a new job...now got more time off but it's also unpaid. Seesaws and monkey bars.
but because I don't have enough holidays to cover the whole period, they're making me work 9-3pm on boxing day. Feel free to pity/laugh at me.
I booked off new years eve, and the 2nd and 3rd of january
I'm going to get wrecked.
I wish I'd bookmarked that thread now.
the afternoon of friday 21st, until monday 7th january! well chuffed, am going to edinburgh for new years too!
have missed a trick here. Christmas/New Year period is THE time to be at work because:
a) Nobody else is usually in so you can do what you like
b) Most people seem to come in about 10.00 and leave by about 2.30.
c) You are using up valuable holiday that could be used when its a bit warmer and doesn't get dark at 3.30pm!
Qh yes, saved my holidays up for an extended winter chill.
til Monday the 7th
