No-one else appreciates the coolness of this. I generally have no interest in gadgets and technology and I'm damn fucking excited!
but I'd be scared that something would go wrong and they'd start crashing into each other
I'm a bit worried that there's only 18 of them though..
and what about all my rage, how will i express it if not at dawdling middle lane cruisers or idiots that can't judge gaps properly and just sit and wait holding traffic up WHEN THEY COULD EASILY FUCKING NIP THROUGH THERE! DEAR GOD I HATE THEM
got worked up for nowt.
but..... expecting tourists... or anyone for that matter to be able to work them immediately with no delays and therefore no back up? bit ridiculous. unless they give them instructions on the plane...
so not tourists so much.
What better way to distract from their massively environmentally damaging new runway than to feed the press a story about magical, emission free driverless cars? Hmph.
To be honest I'm more interested in the future repurcussions of this if they work - the idea of these things being used in cities does interest and appeal to me.
It's an interesting idea, but it's hardly sophisticated new technology is it? Why doesn't it use GPS rather than following a path drawn on the ground? It's like they used LOGO to program it or something. Of course it'd brilliant to have a system of emission free vehicles carting people everywhere they want to go, but this system is a million miles away from that.
Man I'm getting grouchy about this!
but i don't get how they can say there will be no queues!
surely people will want to use these, and there are only 18 of the fuckers! guaranteed long queues i say.
