in a car crash at the age of 19. i really dont know how to feel.
an old friend from school died in Iraq. wasn't sure how to feel either - sort of felt if you go to war expect to die. Bit different with a car crash. so i'd go with upset too.
it's wierd really
i cry about a friend's death and he's been dead now for over a year!

Died in a car crash when he was 17 :( Sad was a primary feeling.
I've only known a small number of people who've died young, none of whom I'd been that close to. The one I knew best was a guy from Uni who I'd lived with for a year and got on with but he died just after we left Uni and I'm pretty sure I'd never have seen him again in any case.
In each case I was shocked and disturbed by it and upset that someone that young could die. If I'm utterly honest I can't say I was close enough to them to be grieving or upset that they personally had died (it was more the upsetness that someone I know had died) but certainly I was shocked, upset and it started me thinking loads of morbid things about mortality.
