broken phone advice

dan_thw [Edit] [Delete] 17:55, 13 December '07

I have a Nokia 6131 http://www.nokia.co.uk/link?cid=PLAIN_TEXT_82181 and about six weeks ago, it lost all reception for about 36 hours, then it just came back. It then lost it for about another 12 hours a couple of days later, then it came back again.

It has been fine until 2 days ago when it lost all reception for another 12 hours or so, then it came back. Now it has done it again.

Has this happened to anyone else, and is there any explanation for it / way of getting the reception to come back?

Just before it has gone wrong, it has an E with a line through it at the top of the display, or a G with a line through it. What does this mean?

STUPID TECHNOLOGY!
