Reflexology

TheSoundofBastards [Edit] [Delete] 15 replies 15:29, 12 December '07

Anyone ever tried this before? I've been booked in for an appointment later.
Is some mad woman going to attack my foot with a candle?

  • Yes.

And then you'll go in for your reflexology

  • What are you seeing them for?

she will more likely poke your feet with her fingers. I can imagine this is either quite nice or unbearably ticklish.

    • I can't remember what my original complaint was

possibly falling asleep all the time, or a pain in my left knee.
I've got a feeling it's going to be ticklish.

      • Every part of the body is represented

by different sections of the foot, according to the believers.

        Which is... an amazing feet!

        Sorry.

        • this is serious, have you no sole?

          Jordan_229_2 @basil | 12 Dec '07, 15:41 | X
          • I'll get me...

            socks

            basil @Jordan_229_2 | 12 Dec '07, 15:42 | X
      • I'd say there's no point in going unless your complaint was an itchy foot

but you've booked it now, so may as well try and enjoy it.

        Maybe get some hand relief?

  • Yes! I've had some amazing Reflexology done... in Melbourne and Thailand.

Don't drink afterwards (alcohol) but drink a lot of water... it's quite intense! If they are good, they will tell you what's wrong with you.

    • Ah, the water thing.. usually have to drink after massages

hmm, fingers crossed they can tell me whats wrong with me. (My guess is I don't get enough sleep- lousy having to work mularky)

      • Oh LUCKY you. I might book myself in for a really full on massage next week... or Friday...

post my exhaustive xmas party season anyway.. I need a good one. A girl at work has been offering me one and I keep saying no.

        • I haven't had a massage in aaages

should get one really, the desks here are the least ergonomic thing ever.

      • If they stop the treatment within 5 seconds...

        ...its probably a veruca.

      • Hmm don't want to sound liek a big spoilsport

but maybe you should try an actual doctor for that?

If all you want is a nice foot massage then I reckon it could be quite nice, and relaxation is always good, but if they start diagnosing you based on looking at your big toe, recommending you buy stuff form them/ their mate or book lots more appointments in order to cure your illness then I would start to raise a sceptical eyebrow.

  • I've had this

and it's sooooooo relaxing. I didn't think I'd enjoy it but I was doing a favour for a friend who was doing the course and I'm glad I did. Not sure if it cures anything though but nice for a relax!

  • It's pretty painful though right?

When I went, I couldn't type or play the piano for weeks. But then, I guess I shouldn't have walked into the surgery on my hands.
