So what now chaps?
and use the threads already in existence to find out OUR PLAN.
you can't have everything organised for you for ever. sometimes you need to do a little bit of work yourself.
this transcends football & DiS
I have added what I will do in our attempt to be at chasetown.
i should probably go to work now.
I watched the draw but the team name has completely left my memory.

to goodness you post a link to your website on football365? I'd stick it on the Saints forum but that would be as much help as asking for tickets on, well, here.
Get yourselves noticed! Ring 606! Post yourself places! You're a bunch of drunken knobs but I wouldn't mind betting that there are people out there that would get behind this if they heard about it.
Someone put a blue and white wig on John Salako last night as he was giving match reports; I was praying that it was bamos or someone...
John Salako hates me. I gave him 45 minutes of abuse at Reading v Norwich a couple of years ago, and he gave me a withering look of disdain that I cherish to this very day.
that played for both Reading and Crippled Alice is a moron by me. Anyway, you evade my point -
get some publicity! I reckon the Chasetown chairman would invite you in to his box (missus) if he knew what you were up to, especially after reading your blog
I am in the middle of something at the moment, but I'll send an email to EON as well later on.
As he was in goal he couldn't run off to somewhere else on the pitch.
He looked completely disgusted at our behaviour.
was pretty rubbish when he played for us. but then he was in one of the worst town sides i've ever seen (it's tough competition) so his constant flapping and fumbling was probably just due to the fact we had steve chettle in defence.
only a few years since he played for Northern Ireland.
We were 18/19 year old students and were proud to have made a professional sportsman flinch. Next stop: eating crisps and opening bottles of coke at the snooker.
Never been so silently frowned upon in my whole life
to one of the football365 writers.
Yes. That's the shiznit right there. I can really see someone taking an interest in this
I also sent the link to someone at the BBC website. It may be of more interest to them now. It's probably worth sending it again.
might well be of more appeal now that the competition is at this stage.
I would also try and get in touch with the chairman of Chasetown. I want to see bamos leading the team out as mascot
Can they start a thread about it? I used to post on there (years ago) but I can't remember my login details.
just emailed EON to ask if they can help in any way. I told them that as sponsors of the competition, it would be great publicity for them, as we have a very popular internet blog.
woke me up this morning to read the meter for the building i live in.
i should have asked him for eight tickets for chasetown v cardiff to make up for it.
you attention seeking exhibitionist twazzocks?
A desperate plea?

My name is Richard Browne, and I am part of a core of 8 friends who have been following the FA Cup from the first qualifying round to see how far we could get. We started out at Dulwich Hamlet, and we decided from there that we would follow whoever would beat them, and so on and so forth. So far we have seen Dulwich Hamlet beat Deal Town, Dulwich Hamlet beat Chalfont St Peter, AFC Hornchurch beat Dulwich Hamlet, Team Bath beat AFC Hornchurch, Chasetown beat Team Bath, and Chasetown draw with Port Vale. Unfortunately we could not be there to see Chasetown beat Port Vale, as we could not get tickets due to the fact that we are not local to chasetown. (the majority of us live in London!)
Why I am writing to you is to ask if there is anyway that we could possibly be able to obtain tickets fot the Chasetown vs Cardiff game. As a member of 2 Chasetown pitch invasions in the last 2 rounds I was absoloutely gutted to not be there last night.
I feel our story would be of interest to you and your listeners, and we also have an internet blog of our travels, which can be read at:
We will happily do anything to get to the next game. We are all massive fans of 606 and listen all the time, and we are genuine fans on a wonderful journey. We will be guests, we will help out, we will do ANYTHING YOU WANT to be at that game. Please help us
even if does mean pretending to like Alan Green
Lets hope its moved.
I called Chasetown and their very nice man on the phone said that the FA are deciding whether to move it or not.
The decision will come tomorrow. I'm not sure how many places they could move it to. Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall and West Brom seem to be the closest towns.
This could be our salvation!
That would make the best blog entry ever.
this week I was born in cardiff!
I might bring a thermos full of steaming hot laver bread.
Walsall 1-0 Gresley Rovers, FA Cup 1st Round, 1998.
A great day, apart from the result. MEMORIES.
if it got moved to the bescot. then again, i miss proper football grounds and it's unlikely we'll be able to get to one again on this cup run if this game is moved.
