my sister had it and took to napping after every few steps she walked
oh well at least i get a day off college tommorow.
i wanted to die when i had it, i'm glad you can't get it more than once (i hope). it also took at ;least half a year until i could drink properly, and still to this day some might say that i am not a patch on the man i was before suffering this devoing ailment :(
it fucked me up for a long time thanks to my immune system being completely useless afterwards.
it was a good excuse to quite my uni course and take a year out.
at least everyone thinks you're getting some!
running and crawling and things like that and stuff!
couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with me. All my glands went massive in my armpits and hurt like hell, and i was so tired and couldn't concentrate. I was put on disciplinary here for bad consistency of work, then when I got the blood test done they had to retract it and I went to bed for a few weeks. Ok now but a SHANDY lightweight which is annoying at free champagne dos but otherwise a lot cheaper!
just before my easter break, which meant it was in full flow right around the time I was meant to be revising for my 2nd year uni exams. That was a pretty stressful month.
It's a bitch. Drink lots of milk and manuka honey. Get lots of rest. If you can bear to use that tonsil spray go for it.
which meant it went to my pancreas which is actually quite dangerous. eek.
dunno i was pretty out of it.
they told me about the honey thing as well. pretty good tip.
take it very easy for the next few months, even if you feel pretty good don't go crazy.
definitely don't run a few races a couple ofs months later, then going and spending a month travelling around europe running in more races a couple of months after that.
possibly one of the stupidest things i've ever done.
