I didn't think this would actually happen. Awful news for him and his family.
It actually makes me really angry- he has a fucking job, why deport him? Mind you, will likely make him a prime target for tragic life story-type biographies in the near future.
common sense would prevent this happening, still there doesn't seem to be too much of that right now.

I imagine he'll succeed on the appeal as this is how it always works: jobsworth applies the rules, there is an appeal, minister says it was all done in error.

Depsite not making it up with 75% of international games that would show that Watford can't get an adequate replacement from the UK and Europe.
Also, if he's a dad, can't he claim to be naturalised? I assume that the mother is british of course.
