genuinely freak me out. Obviously punctuality's great and everything but there's someone sat in the waiting room where I work who's got an appointment for 2:30.
Why the hell is she 45 minutes early? What kind of absence of things to do in life do you need so you wish to pass 45 minutes in a waiting room? And, in an area of shops and coffee shops and so forth, why the hell doesn't she go to one of them?
I'm actually rapidly coming to the conclusion that being ridiculously early is in many ways a far ruder thing to do than being ridiculously late. It puts pressure on the other person to cancel their plans to fit you in earlier and is a bit control freakery in that it's sort of saying "I want to control your time and put pressure on you through my presence".
